Trauma Support Camp: Open House
Trauma Support Camp: Open House
Saturday, November 1, 2025
4:00PM to 6:00PM
In-Person
Facilitator: Maria Iqbal
Join us for an arts and somatic based peer support and psychoeducation group for dealing with trauma, as it returns for a second cycle! The trauma support camp, led by Dr. Maria Iqbal, is for women looking for a place to be able to freely express and exist, without the expectation of masks or performance.
This time around, we are hosting an open house for you to come experience a sampler of the activities, community and conversation that will take place in Trauma Support Camp cycle 2.
📅 Saturday, 1st November, 2025
⌛ 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
🎫 The open house is free and open to all
Please note: This is a peer support group and not therapy, or a substitute for therapy. It is meant to be used as an add on tool for individuals already doing trauma work with their therapists. While we will have depth of exploration through art and movement and collective meaning making, therapy is better suited for in depth exploration of one's own trauma. Participants are encouraged to have an existing therapy or other coping practice while participating in this course.
