By being part of this space, you agree to the above guidelines, and understand that CFAW and Nani Ghar reserve the right to refuse entry or participation if these rules are violated.

Participant

  1. In case of any emergency please follow CFAW team instructions.

  2. Inform the team immediately if first-aid or medical assistance is needed.

  3. CFAW is not responsible for personal belongings, always keep valuables with you.

  4. Children must be always accompanied by a guardian.

  5. Do not photograph or record children without parental consent.

  6. CFAW processes refunds only if an event is cancelled from our end.

  7. Maintain confidentiality of participant sharing and internal discussions during sessions.

  8. If you’re facilitating or volunteering, clean up the space after your activity, event, or workshop.

  9. As this is a shared space, please be mindful and smoke in the designated area, and keep out prohibited substances for our collective security and safety.

  10. Be respectful of the physical and emotional space by listening attentively and maintaining confidentiality of internal work.

  11. Support us in creating a safe and safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all. Ethnic, racist, sectarian, queerphobic or sexist discrimination will not be tolerated.

  12. Take care of yourself and others. This is no space for sexual misconduct, violence, bullying, or any form of verbal, physical or sexual abuse.

  13. Be mindful of consent before photographing strangers with your smartphone or camera.

  14. Since this is 'Nani ka Ghar' let’s be very mindful about excessive PDA that can create discomfort for others sharing our collective space and the community around us. We are protective of this space, neighborhood and you! We only process refunds in the scenario where a CFAW event is cancelled from our end.

Facilitator Rules:

  1. Registrations will be handled by Team CFAW through the website portal unless any special case is communicated prior to the workshop planning.

  2. You are more than welcome to invite as many people but we will allow one “unpaid” guest as we would like to prioritize resource allocation to paid guests and ensure the facilitators efforts are also be compensated.

  3. Please arrive at least 30 minutes to an hour in advance before the session so we can help curate the space.

  4. For any decor, please consult the team to ensure the space is respected and not damaged.

  5. Share any material in advance that may need preparation so nothing is left for last minute.

  6. If any sensitive or triggering topics come up planned/unplanned in your session, we encourage a gentle diversion from the topic as even though CFAW ensures a safe and brave space, we need to ensure the safety of the general community. If for any reason you need assistance, someone from the team will be present to help intervene.

  7. Feel free to ask our team for support in whatever capacity you require. A team member will be present throughout your session to assist you.

  8. You are more than welcome to play music during your sessions, however please be mindful of the neighborhood adhaans that occur.

  9. Since we are located in a residential area, we would like our community to be respectful of our neighbors. It is requested by the team for any facilitator with a session in the last half of the day to wrap up 30 minutes after your workshop to ensure the team can clock out for the night at a reasonable time. We do hope close the space by 9:30pm max.
