Messages Through Dance is a workshop by Dastaan-e-Raqs, a dance collective that explores dance as a way of storytelling and expression. In this workshop, we will watch and discuss different videos where dance is used to convey powerful messages. Through simple activities and movement exercises, participants will also explore how ideas, emotions, and stories can be expressed through dance.
The session invites participants to think about dance beyond performance and experience it as a meaningful way to communicate. No prior dance experience is required.
