What stays with you after a music video ends? We’ll be watching three Pakistani music videos, each with its own distinct story, mood, and visual world. Then we’ll turn what lingers into art.

The plan is to capture whatever stays behind, whether it's a feeling, a shape, a color, or a memory. You don't need to know how to draw, make something "good," or even have a plan before your pen hits the page; just watch, notice, and see where it takes you. We'll wrap up by gathering our pages together to see how the same three videos took on completely different lives for each of us.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you’d like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
