Sometimes, all you need is the right meme to say what you're thinking. A funny picture, a line of text, or a very specific situation can somehow capture exactly how we feel. We've all come across memes that remind us of our friends, our daily struggles, or just something that happened five minutes ago.

In this Drawing Room, Manoj invites participants to bring these moments to paper. We'll look at familiar memes, play around with images and text, and come up with our own versions through free-form drawing. Think of it as taking the things we usually share online and giving them our own twist on paper.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you’d like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
