Every year on Valentine's Day, we fall into a debate about what love truly is- a noun or a verb, a feeling or a commitment, whether it is imprudent to celebrate it one day of the year or necessary to give it its own space. We will try to understand the various facets of love through its numerous opposites. Is hatred the opposite of love? Is it indifference? Or is it the Will to Power as Carl Jung said? Each opposite of love enriched it, so we are able to evoke, feel, and embody love for what it is- the engine behind life.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you'd like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
