An introduction to the idea of 'exquisite corpse' a playful drawing method born out of Surrealism & Salvador Dali's work. We'll be challenging the very idea of individual control when it comes to art making.

Welcome to the Museum of Strange Beings where we don't see the full story until the very end and it's all unexpected, dreamlike, and humorous compiled into one surreal body. We'll then create stories out of our unexpected creatures and explore art as a collective yet intuitive process while having a lot of fun!

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you'd like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
