Does your core memory come with a soundtrack when you try to draw it? Is it a vivid, sharp snapshot of an exact moment, or a blur of colors that only make sense when a specific song starts playing?

In Siren Songs with Shehzain Ahmed Basha, we will pick a song attached to a core memory from your past, and draw a visualization of your perspective of that moment as its album cover art.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you’d like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
