Has a weirdly shaped puddle ever reminded you of something random and made you smile? Have you ever seen a familiar face in the clouds?

Khaali Safa invites participants to look for the beauty of art within ideas we disregard as trash. We will put whatever the mind sees in the wrinkles and folds. You are open to express yourself and bring out your creative process on the piece of paper rather than sticking to a specific idea or category. This is a free-form exercise for participants of all skill levels.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you’d like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
