We'll be exploring the world through the eyes of an animal. We'll imagine the unique perspective of their pets, visualizing what animals might see when they look at the world around them. What does rat or pigeon experiences while navigating Karachi? How does our neighbourhood look like from a small, grounded viewpoint. The aim is to encourage creativity and empathy, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the world seen through the eyes of different creatures.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you'd like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
