Have you ever thought about worlds different to our own? Perhaps a world underwater where sea pirates rule with seaweed as currency or sassy aliens fighting for control of the galaxies in outer space? Join us in our world building workshop with Khurram Khan where we'll be creating fantastical worlds, its hierarchical systems, citizens, culture, background stories, and everything that makes it special. Bring with you all ideas you have of worlds you may have thought of - from utopias to dystopias, the downright weird and everything that is in-between that.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you'd like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
