Drawing Room: Did I Lock The Door?!

Drawing Room: Did I Lock The Door?!

6:00 to 8:00
In-Person
Facilitator: Soha Randhawa

Ever left the house, reached halfway down the street and suddenly thought, "WAIT. DID I LOCK THE DOOR?!" Only to turn back, check, and realise that you did. Or felt an unreasonable amount of happiness when the elevator doors opened and nobody was inside?

We all have these oddly specific feelings. This workshop is all about those moments!

We'll spend two hours sharing and drawing the wonderfully weird feelings that come with being human. Think doodles, silly illustrations, and funny characters. You could turn your feelings into a comic strip, give your anxiety a face, or draw what pure relief looks like.

This workshop is free for all. We encourage minimal waste, so please bring your paper, sketchbooks, or other drawing instruments along with your creativity with yourself. We will have A4 sheets, basic pointer pens, pencils, and erasers available from our end if needed.

Nani Ghar Drawing Room is a weekly drawing series where we create and share art together. This series is inclusive for all people wanting to make art in a judgement free zone. No prior skills required, just your imaginations!

The Drawing Room is also a community-led initiative, so feel free to propose what you’d like to do next. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to lead a workshop! If you have an idea, and would like to lead a workshop, please reach out, the team will be there to support you in planning and facilitation.
