A three-day workshop in which we will use movement and stillness meditation, journaling, conversation and art-making to become familiar with our nervous system and our relationship to movement. We will explore the gap between the subconscious mind and our conscious awareness. No prior dance, movement, or meditation experience is required for the workshop.

Dr. Maria Iqbal offers a culmination of her learning from her Dance Mandala training, journey with PTSD, and experience with working in the mental health field for over ten years. In this workshop, we will move beyond clinical settings to explore what helps integrate knowledge from therapy with somatic work in our daily lives. A participation certificate will be awarded at the end of the workshop.
