Maria Iqbal is a medical doctor from Aga Khan University and a public mental health practitioner from Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health. She is also a certified Dance Mandala Facilitator from the Yoga Tree in Thailand, and has completed the CPPD certificate for Humanistic Integrated Counselling.

Her work as a community mental health educator as well as lived experience of PTSD has caused her to explore traditional and nontraditional pathways of healing, leading to a unique and playful perspective on wellbeing.
